What fun things do you have planned for the weekend?

Friends will be coming over for a potluck dinner on Saturday.  The coming weekends will be filled with planned dinners and lunches as our way to touch-base with friends.

The 2008 Summer Olympics is over, now what are you going to do?

I’m looking forward to watch my favorite shows again!  Like the Chopping Block and all the homegrown Aussie shows in Channel 7.

Would you rather go out to dinner and a movie, or dancing and to a bar?

My husband and I are more of a dinner/movie kind of couple.  It used to be our way of winding down after a long work week.

Do you prefer hot tea or iced tea? What kind of tea do you drink?

I love tea, both hot or iced. For iced, I prefer lemon tea, Nestea brand. For hot, Dilma brand would do. I love earl grey, green tea and ceylon tea.

What random three things did you do this weekend?

:: I scrubbed the kitchen floor (I’ve been planning to do that for the longest time and I finally did it! Yey!)

:: I finished two full stacks of laundry (9 days worth of clothes –from our Perth trip)

:: We went window shopping to check out gifts for Christmas (yep, you read it right, we want to start our shopping early!).

What is your most compulsive habit?

I have a lot of compulsive habits but the most I should say is making sure that I leave the house with matching bag and shoes!! It sounds funny (and so ’80s) but it’s true!

What are your final words for the month of July?

July is made memorable with our first trip to Snowy Mountains and Perth. I’ll miss you July! I hope August and the rest of the year will be as great!

You’ve got an extra $1000 in your checkbook and a totally free weekend. Where would you go and what would you do?

I would like to bring my daughter to the theme parks in Goldcoast.  So it’s a weekend getaway in Brisbane!  The money left of the $1000 will be used for food tripping.

What other career have you always been interested in? If you could do it for a day, what would you like to do?

I wanted to do volunteer work for the longest time. I’m dreaming that one day, financial obligations aside, I’d be able to join a non-profit organization caring for children.

Okay, so we are pretty much split for cooking on the grill, gas or charcoal. What about indoor cooking? Gas or electric?

For indoor cooking, I prefer gas. I find that it is harder to moderate or control electric stoves.
