It’s Free to Dream
Strawberry Fields June 19th, 2009
I’m keeping an open mind when it comes to work options when my youngest starts the big school. I can join the workforce once more, do I.T. work again, or start a career in a new field. But I’m hoping that by then I can put up a small business instead that will allow me to earn from my hobby and get more flexible working hours.
I’m excited to think about having my own business. And I hope setting it up (getting licenses and acquiring a business insurance) will be easy so that my focus will be in developing my marketing plan and selling my product or skills.
Sweet Fix
Strawberry Fields April 6th, 2009
I know I should be veering away from sweets, for the sake of the baby in my tummy, but I just can’t resist having a slice of cake once in a while. Aside from gestational diabetes (which I pray I will not get..) there is unnecessary weight that I have to shed off eventually. I was just telling the husband that I hope I’d be able to lose the pregnancy weight as fast as I did when I had my first born. I never, never want to resort to Anoretix or diet pills.
Full Hands

With the house move next week, the preparations for my daughter’s birthday picnic has been put on hold. I’m even thinking of calling it off, just so we can iron things out before we leave for Manila by end of November.
But for the post celebration in Manila this December, we have made a big progress this week. We have chosen the venue and party planner and finalized the guest list. There are still a couple of things that have to be done, so I hope to spend some time this weekend to finish them all.

My Way of Saying Thanks
Strawberry Fields July 4th, 2008
I have added a Top Commenter widget on this blog’s sidebar a few weeks ago so that I’d be able to give proper credit to fellow bloggers who leave wonderful comments here. And what better way to give back some good blog loving than by featuring the blogger for one whole month on Only the Good Stuff!
My first ever top commenter for June is Roselle of Reflexes! Thanks for visiting this blog and for not failing to leave comments! Her blog’s link and logo will be on my sidebar for the month of July.

What I Also Miss..
Strawberry Fields May 22nd, 2008
I haven’t been holding (or rather using) my camera for nearly two weeks. We weren’t able to go out last weekend save for our church service and grocery shopping. This weekend looks even less promising because of my red eye. A vein in my left eye ruptured which caused a red patch to surround the eyeball.
It looks really bad. It’s like someone or something hit me in the head causing my eye to turn blood red. I was relieved though when I first read about it on the internet that it is not a cause for alarm and the doctor today also confirmed that it’s nothing serious.
But they all say that this could last for a week or even two. I miss going out with the family. Weekends are my favorite part of the week and I’m sad we’ll be trapped again at home this weekend. I miss taking pictures!
