Wake Up To A Good Breakfast
Foodies, Piggy Bank September 23rd, 2008

How would you like to wake up with this? A yummy serving of French toast casserole paired with a warm cup of coffee, chocolate or tea. I usually prepare a simpler version of this on the weekends. I use just eggs, cream, sugar and milk as my base and day old bread.
The recipe accompanying above photo from find.myrecipes.com is a lot better yet easy to make. I just need to add fruits, which will definitely add more flavor to my otherwise boring version. I should try this soon!

Fried Lumpia
Foodies April 5th, 2008

It’s my first time to prepare fried lumpia. I used this recipe as basis and did my own changes based on the ingredients available.
Ingredients:
Minced pork
3, Egg yolks
Pepper and salt to taste
Carrrots
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
Oil
Eggroll wrappers
How To:
Mix pork, egg yolks, pepper, salt and soy sauce.
Depending on the shape of the lumpia that you prefer, scoop about 1 tbsp of mixture into the wrapper and fold. Make sure that the meat is secured inside the wrap.
Fry in deep hot oil.
Serve with sweet & sour or sweet-chili sauce. I used the latter.
