A Shoe Story
Piggy Bank April 1st, 2008
I find it hard to buy my daughter good and comfortable shoes. Her feet size is 7 for formal shoes, which she wears with her Sunday dresses and 8 for rubber shoes or flip flops — and she’s only 16 months old! My friend’s 3 year old daughter wears a size 6 or 7. When we go shop, most of the items on display look pretty but when she tries them on, it’s so obvious that she’s not comfortable in them.
Imagine when she was only a year old and still needed to wear walking shoes, we searched high and low for a shoe store that can meet my daughter’s shoe needs but much to my dismay, there’s none. She eventually learned to walk barefoot at home and wearing toddler shoes at a very early age.
